In 2014, a terrorist organization systematically released smallpox in major cities throughout the world. This brought the world to its knees, and lack of vaccinations was a major problem. The ‘ministry of progress’ stepped in with a document called the Doctrine, stating who in the world should live, and who shall become ‘property of the state’. The state started testing children from birth to check for genetic defects, and to make sure they were ‘fit’ for society years later.
This film follows the Davis family, as they wait and see the fate of their son. As well as this, the film gives knowledge of the world as we know it (present day: Year 2023). We meet a variety of character both pro government, and anti government; giving their opinions about the actions of the Ministry of Progress.
